Pros: Very clean, nice beach, great trails
Cons: Not all sites are reservable/visitor center closed on weekends

We really enjoyed camping here in June 2006.Sites are spacious and well described on the reserveamerica.com website. This is a very popular area and is kept clean and tidy. The swimming beach is far from most campsites, but is raked and cleaned daily. It is a fun place for families, boaters, fishermen and campers. We bicycled around the campground, lots of hills.Took a lovely nature hike to an overlook with a deck.Lots of swimming and the campstore has icecream, inflatable swimrings at a reasonable price, and an inflator to fill them with 25 cents. The only disappointment was that the visitor center was closed on weekends and there were no brochures about nature hikes at the station contractors run the park. Our campsite had a picnic table, fire ring, asphalt drive, and gravel pad.We would stay here again.
