Stayed here 3 nights in April 2022 during the annual French Quarter Fest. Nice park for visiting NOLA. Took ferry from Algiers Point to Canal Street terminal; used the public parking near the ferry dock. Enjoyed the fresh seafood from the Westwego Shrimp lot nearby.

WE liked this campground but the real gem is the campground on the north rim, which we discovered when we visited it. The unpaved road to reach it was excellent and the North rim sites were much more spacious. Did we move there - no we only had 2 more nights to go so did not bother "pulling up stakes" but next time we will head straight to the north rim - which was also more scenic and less crowded.

Overall a very good experience, it was a bit strange driving though the suburbs to reach it - but it felt good once we were there. Many sites were quite sloped which made leveling a chore but not impossible. No services, so dry camping from what I remember.

loved amping here - bough day passes to the hot spring swimming pool at Furnace Creek Ranch next door. Floating in the warm pool staring at the stars and night sky was a fabulous experience we repeated every night.

We camped here and enjoyed the stay, sites varied greatly in size. We did not have any hassle from the rangers, but then again we are very careful of keeping a clean site especially in bear territory - for our on safety, those of the bears and other campers.

We tried to stay here but it was full, so we ended up at the Devils Tower Campground in the park, which was light on services but absolutely beautiful, large level sites, partial shade, porcupines entertaining us in the evenings. Don't hesitate to go to the nearby national Monument and camp there instead if you don't need hookups

did not love this spot, old site with nice big trees but spots were fairly close together and our so called "pull through site" was no longer a pull through due to overhanging tree branches - which also made it a bear to back into. Convenient is the nicest thing I can say. I don't remember any hookups and way to shaded for any hope of solar panels working. Decamped to Many Glacier as soon as we could. So much nicer.

One of our favorite campgrounds. Ride your bike to the beach or take the tram. Florida beaches are public, but since the beach is a couple of miles long by the park, it's like having a private beach just for the park. They also have rental "cabins" if you have visitors.
