57th International, Twofer, Gillette, WY

| Description |
6/28-7/5, 2014, Highs 65-86 degrees. Met up with our 4CU friends from home at the check-in point so we could park together. Arrived close to 1330 hrs and took about 20 minutes to check in - paperwork has to be done and it can take time. Otherwise got a primo spot for both of us at the end of the row. Also turned out to be about 100 yds from the fireworks! Final count for the rally was 340 rigs. |

| Description |
A view down one of the rows, there is plenty of room between rigs, we didn't feel crowded. Went to the opening ceremonies which we were glad to see trimmed back. Also attended the Veteran's program (very well done), and some of the entertainment (some very good, others not so). |

Several Vintage rigs for sale, and plenty more to grab a peek inside. Some stuff for sale; but like the main venue, the vendors, though good, were pretty sparse. |

Had some really wild weather continue while here: funnel clouds sighted about 20 miles west and some T-Storms with heavy wind and lightning. |

57th International, Front Row Seats
|
| Description |
Final day/evening of the 57th International. We hosted an open grill in the evening with our neighbors from the Long Beach CA Unit and were joined by folks from a couple of the Texas Units and the Alabama Unit, all positive folks. All topped off by front row seats for the fireworks - very good ending to our experience. |
