Glacier Smart Tow

| Description |
The utility trailer was finally delivered and the first real tow with the Smart Car behind our Interstate was last week from Seattle to Montana's Glacier National Park. Stress free tow (16.8 average mpg) and equally stress free drive up the Going-to-the-sun-road in the Smart. Easy to maneuver the Smart around the park to some out-of-the-way places as well as congested areas, especially this time of year. The package fit nicely in a C-loop pull through, with plenty of room to spare as well as on the street during an overnight visit with friends in Missoula. Easily backed into Washington State campground sites twice during transit to and from Glacier, so it wasn't necessary to unload the Smart to park overnight. |

Wanted to illustrate how hard it rained traveling 101 on the Oregon Coast this morning. Wipers couldn't keep up. To my surprise the oncoming Van was another black Interstate. What are the odds. Tough to tell in this picture but I got a look at it as it went by. |

Had some time this week so we sprinted down the Oregon coast to the Three Capes area south of Tillamook. Stayed at Cape Kiwanda RV Park (always good), ate (and tipped a few) at the Pelican Brew Pub and lucked out on the weather. This photos is from Thursday-the one decent day this week. |
