Wet, rainy and still beautiful, in its own special Oregon way! Just one night in the Gorge this weekend and stayed at a beautiful little private campground just minutes out of Stevenson, Washington! Can't wait to revisit...when we have more time...and better weather! |

Camping In The Snow!

Expected a dusting...ended up with about 6 inches. Was so happy to finally get to camp in winter conditions! Someday maybe we'll have the nerve to really take it into some serious snow :) |

Silver Falls Snow

| Description |
Our first time camping in the snow...and oh what a treat. Pulled the Bambi up to Silver Falls expecting a light dusting and it snowed the entire time we were there. Even better, the skies cleared in the early evening for a bit allowing us to have a campfire! Life is good! |

Two lovely nights at Champoeg State Park. Forecast called for heavy rain, but the sun poked through and we had some beautiful spring "sweet light"! |

A February Camping Weekend

| Description |
We're trying to stick to our goal of taking our AS out once a month during the winter. Again we returned to Silver Creek...such a large and beautiful park. A 9 mile hike, a good dinner and plenty of time to sit around the fire with a good book...life is good! |

Again And Again

| Description |
We keep going back to the same place at Silver Creek...getting to know the camp hosts quite well. This pretty waterfall in just a mile walk from the campsites. Lots of water going over this time of year after all of our heavy rains!
The campgrounds were deserted in December, but they've been pretty full in January...guess people are starting to get the "bug" :) |
