Intellipower
|
Description |
Yes, I know it looks like a Quonset Hut. This is my Intellipower mounted to a board, utilizing the old fuse panel from the fried Univolt. The aluminum shield is to protect it from water, as it's location is partially under the bath tub, and the UV had signs of rust from water on it. The transformation from UV to IP was fairly simple. The hardest part was crawling in to an access panel to get to everything. |

bath tub and countertop
|
Description |
Another shot of the finished product. Not as smooth as I would have liked, but it definitely looks better!
That's just a Hefty bag over the toilet keeping it clean while I work. Not some new fangled toilet. |

The bathroom almost finished!
|
Description |
I am almost finished with the bathroom. Sprayed 2 part epoxy paint. It turned out OK. Lots of work. Had I known how much, I would have torn out the countertops and built new ones in 1/4 of the time.
No more tambour on the bottom. I made a drop down door. Much nicer. |

Pantry, kitchen area
|
Description |
Just a few small modifications to my newly designed pantry area. I attached baskets to the upper areas for misc. junk. I still need to fabricate the door for under the fridge area. |

Updated Rock Guard
|
Description |
For anyone interested, I replaced all the Lucite with stuff I bought at Lowe's. $44 for a 36 x 72 piece that did the whole rock guard. It was a royal pain in the a** but worth it for the nicer updated look. I had to do some major resupporting of the structure from behind with aluminum angles. It is much stronger now and the Lucite can't come loose. The vertical aluminum strips cover the seams, and give it a more modern look like the newer Airstreams. They are of course riveted on! |

Mini fridge
|
Description |
You can see the space underneath where the cooler will go. I will make a matching door to cover it. The cooler can be drained from the back via the access panel. This fridge holds as much if not more stuff than I actually keep in my home fridge. Ahhh, the life of a bachelor! |

Updated kitchen pantry, fridge and microwave
|
Description |
I painted and trimmed out the little dark wood plastic laminated apt. refer that came with my trailer and built it in to the pantry area. The fridge works great, and cools down to making cubes in about an hour and a half. I can't afford a new full sized gas/propane right now, so this will do. There is a large space underneath that will be closed in. It will fit a good size cooler for keeping large amounts of ice to set in the bottom of the fridge on a long ride, keeping the contents cool until it can be plugged in. It will suffice for now!
