Clean kitchen, Tired Sue!
|
Description |
Scrubbing down the kitchen is tough work. Sue decided to rest after getting it clean, and hey, there is a convenient bed here! Getting ready to camp the first time, and now we're ready! |

First Camping Trip!
|
Description |
Our first camping trip together. About 10 miles from home, the Paul Wolfe Forest Preserve is a great get-away to "test drive" the A/S. I also like seeing how small it looks with the big rigs around! |

Aww... Who needs that darn green wire anyway?
|
Description |
Here is a pic of the breaker box the PO installed. I am replacing the cord and found this wiring in the box...the green wire is not connected, and instead is taped up with duct tape. Hmmm. When I replace the cord, the green (ground) wire will be connected to the box/frame of the TT. |

Old cord being replaced
|
Description |
Here's a pic of the cord the PO used, and never checked. This severe cut through the outer jacket and several wires did short out one time and blew the 30A breaker in the feeder box as I was camping on the way home. Don't tell anyone that the PO spliced in a 12/4 cord to the old 10/3 cord with 30 amp cord cap! |

Cinder Blocks Almost Gone...
|
Description |
Much better...replaced the old semi-frozen manual tongue jack with an electric (Atwood Deluxe Power Jack). Also added proper chocks at the wheels, and turned the one remaining cinderblock upright (better weight bearing). I haven't bought the cone for adding height under the tongue jack shaft, but that will eliminate the cinderblock. |

Skylight Now, Old Rooftop AC Hole?
|
Description |
Here is a pic showing a skylight/ceiling hole. The PO said I could put an air conditioner back on the roof for about $700 and the electric was still in the insulation by the hole. Maybe a Max Air vent? |

Oh My! Flash Shows First Snow.
|
Description |
On my way home from the Gulf Coast of Mississippi, stopping in Effingham, IL (Camp Lakewood), my "new" AS felt it's first snow in 10+ years. The flash shows how much was coming down quickly, but it didn't continue long. |

Closet in Bathroom, with Electric Water Heater
|
Description |
Here is a pic of the closet in the bathroom. The PO installed an electric water heater, and I don't know if it works or not. He removed all gas (including lines), so this is it for hot water! |

Toilet and Shower Before Possession
|
Description |
Here is a pic of the toilet and shower in my 1961 Trade Wind with twin beds as of 3/2/03. I need to find a shower curtain, but not sure yet how to use it. Don't know how to use the toilet either! I was told that some have two pedals, but I can only find one, and it opens the bottom of the bowl into the black water tank. |
