Red face What Grey Water Tank??

Don't have one. 1971 International. Grey water outlet is OUTSIDE of dump valve!! Only solution is to open dump valve and let grey water flow into tank, which AS does NOT recomend!! Other wise on ground which no one recomends!!

The copy of the Manuel on my 68 GT states to cap the outlet and open the dump valve to let the gray water back into the black tank. I do this all the time. Makes dumping the tank a little tricky. I have a cap with a hose connection on it, I have connected a ball valve to the outlet then a hose. Close the dump valve drain the lines, remove the cap attach the slinky and dump. I am in the process of installing a Macerator pump to make it easier

Angry Grey Water Tank

Jim, that's what I have been doing, just don't forget to close the dump valve before removing the cap. Heard about the macerator pump; also heard about a water operated 'sewer solution'. Thank's for the reply.

Unhappy Grey Water Tank

Black/ grey Who cares?? Thanks Shari for the leads, they are very informative. When I bought my trailer hadn't a clue about tanks, It was either a trailer or the Econo lodge{$$$$} That made the decision. But I do miss the maid service! Managed to live without the grey tank. There are plenty of Flying J's.

My 72' had 2 oversized gray tanks added. The original system has been removed. I'm gong to try and go back to original design.
Could you tell me which side the original dump gate and gray water outlet were on.?

Red face What Grey water tank

Rob, the dump valve in my 1971 27' Int. is on the left side, or road side. The grey water outlet is after the dump valve. Put the cap on the waste system ,open the dump valve and the grey water goes into the black tank.
