1968 Airstream Overlander 26 - North Carolina

We've spent the past 5 years restoring and traveling in this no detail spared

We are vintage fanatics, we own a 20's home, we own a handmade leather goods business amp; appreciate details, vintage quality and made our mantra: if it can be restored, do it amp; if it must be replaced do it well

We are doing a and will do but we have video tours on our social media highest bidder by Sunday night takes her home!

2 double beds amp; 1 bunk

Table folds up completely added Legomatic chairs that fold up and stow away in cabinets



Clean title and we have original manual as well! All original bins in compartments and lighting as well



gutted floors down to the frame, replaced subfloors, installed wide plank Cali Bamboo flooring humidity/temp change friendly

gutted bathroom completely, replaced all plumbing, fixtures amp; toilet then reinstalled original walls/sink/tub as we d never be able to emulate shape of room as well

replaced bathroom floor with industrial charcoal rubber flooring/trim

new AC unit

replaced all wiring that needed it

undercarriage work made sure everything was reinforced, not rusty, solid and reinforced

kept cabinets but removed broken original oven and sink, kept stove and restored, replaced sink w/ stainless single basin amp; pull nozzle kitchen sink

replaced formica counters w/ butcherbock amp; added counter next to fridge replaced broken ceiling fan with new Fantastic Fan

replaced Water Heater

replaced all plumbing amp; cleaned/sterilized tanks

replaced missing hubcaps w/ vintage era appropriate hubcaps

replaced broken amp; plexiglass windows w/ glass, repaired/restored all screens

repaired screen door and installed dog friendly dog proof screen door guard

replaced awning w/ new custom awning w/ fringe, poles amp;ropes handcrafted by Marti s Awnings custom including hooks for screens if desired Weatherproofed cleaned annually

replaced exterior vent covers

installed electric tongue jack 2019

replaced propane tanks with new tanks

repainted hitch/bumpers

replaced numerous exterior lights amp; license plate light

updated power course cable

installed water pump

replace refrigerator with 3 way fridge yay boon docking

scrubbed, scraped amp; primed painted entire interior used high end custom SW porch paint

installed original airstream style bunk in center bedroom

replaced all cushions with newly upholstered cotton canvas cushions for both gauchos front/back from our leather company fabric supplier

built shelving in bedroom/bathroom cabinets

removed clear coat on exterior polished

replaced tires within past 5 years

replaced window hardware and cabinet hardware that was broken or missing

replaced broken light fixtures and updated center lights to LED bulbs for boon docking

installed new power transformer amp; circuit breakers in past year

updated and replaced braking system on hitch and safety chains

installed hardware in kitchen dish rack, hooks, etc

installed all new compartment access doors water heater, back power cable access door, fridge access door

installed fan for fridge ventilation amp; new vent covers

installed new power strip and system in kitchen

installed bamboo shades on all windows and added privacy curtains on side bunk window and bathroom windows

installed all new circuit breakers

installed new battery and added 2nd battery for boondocking

sealed all of openings with foam to weather and pest proof

winterized every season in fall and lovingly stored in our driveway with daily observation

accepting offers via dm now through Sunday 11/29 evening EST

I have a 1968 Overlander. Where did you find you find that vinyl for the bathroom back of toilet and backwall? It looks amazing.
