Yes, that seems like an ideal spot in an Airstream, for a pup that can fit under there. Harley is just under 100 lbs., so it would be a little tight for him, but we're going to give it a go.

Like the sofas, the dinette is tolerable for about 15 minutes (enough to eat a meal!). Much beyond that, I'm crying out for something a lot more comfortable when it come to relaxing for an afternoon...

How to extend length of the short queen while sleeping

Great way to make the queen longer for those of us 6' and over is have a bolster made with one dimension being the thickness of the mattress and the other dimension 4" (like 4" x 10" or so).

I think for a solo traveler who doesn't want to sleep with someone else, an Airstream with a single twin in the back would be great... that would make it an especially good and spacious second...
