cleaning calcium deposits on skin

We have large areas of calcium deposits on the outside of our 1976 ambassador - how they got there is a long story.

Do all 34' airstreams have 2 fixed windows on each side of the door? If so why are they fixed? We have looked at two 34' Limited Edition trailers. Both had the large windows on either side of door...
