We are hauling an International 28ft with a 2017 F150. We have never had any hauling issues. Lots of power on hills. I would question whether F250 is over powered for what you need.

I had the same problem. I went thru several fuses. Had the dealer put an inline fuse at the battery and solved that issue

There was also an issue with it stopping and wouldn't lower or raise....

Have you tried checking for a bad battery cell. Get a specific gravity battery tester and pop the caps on the batteries. If a bad cell in one or both batteries, then you need new ones.
