ZD rear main bar stuck - unable to adjust

The rafter bar is stuck in the main arm tube so adjustments cannot be done when pulling out the awning.
Can the Head casting be detatched from the awning roller bar?

Rib had a tear and slightly bent forward in it. I used 2 steel bars and was able to align the rib and got it straightened out.
