I used a plumbers helper and a little vegetible...

I used a plumbers helper and a little vegetible oil. Start at the very edges and work your way around the dent untill it is gone. Very low tech...but works well.

The funny part is that when I got the Tradewinds, it had a lot of junk in it. The step was in the junk pile until the misses asked me why I was throwing out the second step! I sure am glad she knew...

furnace replacement

Well, the old furnace has to go. Is replaceing it with a current model going to involve a lot of %&*$?! or is it a pretty simple job? The new furnace is a NT-22 and it is going into a '71 Tradewind....

My '71 has a common key for all the exterior acess doors and a seperate one for the main door. I don't see why a locksmith would have a problem rekeying your acess door to a common key.

The installation is not difficult at all! I rented some scaffolding to get it up on the roof. The rest should be easy...you have the wiring, bracing, and condensate tube in place from the old unit....
