I think I may have a valve problem. It only partially opens to drain, even with plain water. It no longer chugs, just trickles. Can anyone tell me how I go about fixing this issue?

my 74 sovereign air conditioner

I finally used the ac in all this hot weather, usually with the windows open and a couple fans on, it isn't needed. Anyway, phew! It made the whole place smell musty, even the next day.
