The Drum came right off. The problem is there is a backing plate over the lugs. Normally you can pound old lugs out. However I can't figure out how to get this backing plate off.

Replacing wheel lugs 30 Sovereign

A wheel came off my 30 1967 Sovreign thus shearing the lugs. I am trying to figure out how to remove the backing plate so I can repalce the lugs. HAve never seen this kind of set up before. Help!
