Anyone tow with the VW Atlas

Looking a more livable tow vehicle and have looked at the VW Atlas. Specs state that they can tow 5000 lbs.

Looking for comments.

We have towed with both the EZ Lift and the Reese Dual cam. Both tow nicely. We also towed our 9000lb car trailer cross country.

I would prefer the Reese dual cam.

2007 Floor Shrinking

We are looking at a 2007 rear entry Airstream/ 28ft.
Noticed that the floor seems to be shrinking, pulling away from the edges.
The floor has warped by the sink. Looks like they had repaired...

Have used both, cam and sway control. When we purchased our 25ft we towed from southern Florida to Ohio using the just the sway bar. We then hooked up the cam system. Both worked well.

Recently purchased an older Airstream. I know I should know this but the trailer hitch ball is 18" from at the level point, my hitch is 22". What should my truck hitch height be?

Years back, 25 or so, we would install an air dam (ground F/X) below the front bumper. This would help deflect some of the air that would get trapped under our M/H.
