Just a little update for the ones following :) I have decided to go with a whole new axle setup brakes,leafs and straight axle. I will repair the old leaf springs sand blast and paint the old axle...

Resting spot

This is her current resting spot . I have leveled it up on jack stands so I could get the axel out and do some belly pan repairs but she will sit there until everything is finished this time :)

Finally got the Axel down

So after 4 days of spraying PB Blaster on the bolts it was easy to get down. Now i noticed in order to get to the face of the hub measurement i would have to remove the drum and Brake Backing plate...
