As long as there no conection made between a hot wire and a ground wire.
Your car is charging the trailor battery while driving....

Yesterday we worked on the brakes of a frend's airstream.

All 4 magnets replaced.
Plug was coroded so replaced.
Brakes adjusted to the point that you can just hear and feel them drag a little....
