Not an answer to your question but relevant, I don't think Airstream uses genuine leather. "Ultra-leather" is synthetic material and isn't genuine leather. No comparison.

Diesel fuel is about 30% more energy dense than gasoline, so the math usually works in favor of diesel fuel over "cheaper" gasoline.

We can attest to great fuel economy on the 5.9L Cummins (not 6.7L). 16 mpg towing here, not to mention that it would easiy tow any sized Airstream.
