I had the same problem on my suburban furnace.Took it out & oiled the shaft with 3 in one oil.This thin oil will run down the shaft into the sealed bearings.
It now runs silent & smooth.

I tried that with no success.Used a fiberglass cloth with a 2 part epoxy.The problem is the elbows angles.Then I replaced the elbow with a snakebite fitting.Job done.

My fridge rises in temp when it gets above 85 outside.In the 90's it gets to 55 in the fridge.I did check rear venting & installed a fan towards the vent.Helped some.
