Frame/B-wrap parts

1 Attachment(s)
Hello all. I've just removed my front banana wraps on my quest to frame and floor restoration. These trim parts i just removed where the frame meets the B-wrap , and being they are 40 years old, where quite brittle and one partially disintegrated.
Can I get these at Inland RV or another supplier or is someone substituting something else.

thank you

Eric

Eric,
Those plastic trim pieces are no longer available. You can fabricate them out of sheet aluminum.

Thanks Lance,

I have not seen any posts on these or The fabrication of them. I had a feeling they were hard to come buy. It's ashame no one has made a mold of these. Maybe some kind of hard rubber that can form to the shape a little easier than aluminum. Thanks again Lance!

Mine are toast too.

I am going to be fabricating some out of a high temperature PVC roofing material, probably the flashing grade 60 mil. I am still quite a ways out, but will try to remember to post the results.

The original have been gone for many years.

A small section of aluminum works just fine, especially when you seal the edges with Vulkem.

I'm about to pull my 1975 GT banana wraps, also for a shell off floor replacement. Here is a product - Sugru might be used to repair or fashion new seal trim where the tongue meets with the b-wrap. Sugru (sugru.com) is a moldeble silicon rubber. I have not used it - yet, but I can see sugru becoming an indispensable repair item as long as I own an AS.
