Hi Don, I was just about to post the same request. My initial search indicated that Toscano in Los Banos may be the closest, but I stand corrected if someone else has a better suggestion. I'm getting my axles from Inland and will have them fitted closer to home.

I'll post more details if I find some.

Toscano's is a great place. Not that difficult a drive from Sacramento. If the job takes more than 1 day (shouldn't) they probably will let you stay in your trailer overnight....full hookups......free.

Not the most difficult job to do yourself. Consider having them delivered and do the install yourself. You can save more than half if you're able to do it at home. Inland RV is in the LA area and has axles that fit your model. Give him a call.

I will concur that an axle swap is not a difficult DIY job; you'll need jackstands, a jack, sockets set & wrenches, penetrating oil and basic wiring tools to disconnect and reconnect brake wires. A buddy is a good idea too, of course, so that'll set you back some post-job brews :).

Well worth buying the tools if you don't have 'em already..

Being able to do basic mechanic's work like this means that you'll have a lot easier time out on the road if something should go wrong.
