We just cannot justify another vehicle that is going to sit most of the time. Our current tow vehicle is a family vehicle we always use. The vehicle I want will only be used for towing. An old van, station wagon, or a old land shark (car). I want something that will take four people. It could look rough on the outside. I just want everything under the hood, rear end, tranny to do the job

how many days or weeks a year do you think you'll need it?

Revolutionary/Revolting Idea

Rent a 2nd tow vehicle. Rent it from a friend if you can't get it from U-Haul or Ryder.

Insurance, licensing, taxes, etc... add up.

Not to hijack, but I got rid of a nice Lexus and drive a 3/4 Silverado diesel as my daily driver - simply because it's less expensive then owning, insuring, garaging and maintaining both vehicles.

You'd get sticker shock out the wahzoo when you rented, but the other 40 some weeks a year?

Just spekillatin' mind-ewe... Paula
