So does anyone have or know where to get Frame Specifications or prints or ones that members have made from their own Airstreams? We have a 1968 24' Trade Wind. I am thinking of having a frame made but would like to know if this is cost prohibitive. Maybe I just need to find a donor trailer with a solid frame?

Althea68 I'm not sure about 60's model trailers but for mine most of the frame parts are still available from airstream. Mine is a 73 31'. Inland RV in California is tyhe place to call. He can advise you on parts availability. The only part I couldn't get was the main frame rails. I had them made locally as well as some of the crossmembers. Theparts cost $700 and the parts I had made cost about $600. The welder charged me $500 so the total cost was $1800 but I got a good deal. However mine was 7 ft longer than yours. I would expect to pay about the same $1500 to $2000 to have yours made. As far as specs are concerned just use your old one as a template.
