master list of caravans?

is there a database of airstreams that went on each caravan? a way to find out if / which caravan my airstream went on? I have a caravan sticker, but don't know how to start looking...

Here's a link to some early caravan information:

Do you have any WBCCI numbers? We have a copy of Thank You Marco Polo by MacGregor Smith, which lists the participants of the Around The World Caravan and could check it see if your trailer was one of the trailers that circled the globe. Please let us know and we'd be more than happy to check for you. Ah, if only trailers could talk, what great tales they could tell.

Enjoy your Airstream-many great adventures await you!

Happy and safe journeys,

If the trailer had numbers on it and you can find an older directory that lists those people it will usually tell what caravans they went on. Of course you won't be sure if it was your trailer if they have had several different ones. There will also be a list of caravans in the front of the directory which will tell what dates they were so if you know when they owned that trailer you might be able to work it out

Fred C, (47weewind) was kind enough to inform me that my #, 7906, belonged to;

Quote:

Samuel & Beatrice Ream, 1201 Elm St., Reading, Pa. They were the first people to be assigned that number. They still lived at 1201 Elm St. in 1974, but had not yet gone on any WBCCI Caravan. By 1984, #7906 was transferred to Woody & Geri Mall, 3720 E. Orangeburg, Modesto, Ca. 95355.
however, i still don't know if my trailer has gone on any caravans. thanks for the lead. if you can find any info, we would certainly LOVE it. BTW, we do have a square "wally byam caravan" sticker below our #.

thanks!

We've checked the roster for the Around-The-World caravan and the Reams are not listed.

You might consider contacting the WBCCI offices directly-they were extremely helpful when we called to research the previous owners of one of our trailers.

Good luck with your research!
