I posted this under Classics but I think it's better here. Anyone have these installed? If so, did you work from a service bulletin from AS? My truck shop would prefer to work from some sort of documentation but AS has not gotten back to me on that request. The fact that the factory just left them in the camper without telling me about them makes me think that they wanted the tranny repair guy to use them, but he didn't notice them until too late.
He said they will need holes bored into them and holes bored into wherever they go--he thought a couple hours would do the trick. I plan to have this done when I take the old girl in for her alignment check and inspection.
The part numbers are on there and they are marked for left and right. My search for the part numbers didn't get me anywhere.
Thanks,

Are they bell housing supports for a GM tranny?, Workhorse chassis, if so a dealer my be able to supply the needed documentation from the stamped numbers.

That's the problem, I have no idea. They just showed up in the coach when it was taken from the Airstream Factory to the trans repair shop. That guy said they would help prevent tension on the flex plate--I think. It was chaotic, I'd been up for two nights, I had just written a big, fat check to the guy...I really didn't get everything he was telling me. If AS doesn't get back to me, I'll just go up to the truck shop and see if they can figure it out by looking at them. Thanks,

:) Hi, on the castings it says THM for Turbo-Hydra-Matic and 400 - 475. The 475 is the truck version of the Turbo 400.
