Hey everything looks great! I've never been to the Armstrong museum. Can't wait to rally. :)

silvermoon 03-10-2008 01:14 PM

This rally is in my neck of the woods! It sounds like a blast- it would be great to meet everybody.

Ohio Caverns

Oh yeah... I almost forgot- my brother gives tours at Ohio caverns. He did it when he was in high school in the 19th century and now that he is retired he is doing it again.

Hi silva sistas from the other side of the country,

We just had our West Coast Women Rally last weekend, and we had a blast! We celebrated the International Women's Day on Saturday during our big potluck, and we had a big toast to all of us strong, determine, inspiring, fun groups of sistas. How much we hope you all can join us. Your rally planning sounds lots of fun and wish we can all join you as well!

We are thinking about a fall rally now, since once a year is just not enough. Life is too short and we need to seize the moment! May be in the near future, we can plan a rally in between, so we can all meet and have a blast!

=^^= Cat

Holly that would be wonderful!! We love meeting more and more of our silver sisters, please come. Do you think it would be your brother giving tours at the cavern on that Saturday? Small world, too cool. It promises to be a fun time.

Hey Cat, if we could meet in the middle for a rally some day that would be spectacular, not only would we have the two coasts coming together but we would probably have sisters from the middle states joining in. Now that would be quite an event. We saw how much fun you had at your rally, you girls do it up right. Send us some of that silver karma to bring to our April rally, will ya?

WOW, i missed a lot, well I broke down an bought an Ipod, a used 30gig for 120 bucks. Im going to save a little more and get the touch later. I just needed something to get me music on my trip next month, my ipod wont keep a charge, and wont work for more that 40 minutes without going dead. I cant wait to rally also. Also I wanted to tell all you ladies, they are disconutining the Rosie Bobblehead, so get them while you can, I ordered mine today!!!!!

wheel interested 03-10-2008 06:15 PM

Where did you order Rosie and how much is it? Are you loading up the party tunes on your IPod to play for us on your Bose?:)

Lou, I wonder if we could make some banners, any ideas? Maybe we could bring supplies and work on them or run them up ourselves beforehand, and/or/both? I was very smitten with your banner at the Louapalooza. I would like to make a smaller one for either the awning or a shorter stand at my site. We could do different designs or copy each others. I'd like to do an applique or maybe combine stamping embroidery and applique. Even if it were a quick stitch witchery iron on pieces, I think it would be fun.

Hi Silvermoon (Holly)

Welcome!! That would be great if you could come out.:) :flowers:
You are sure to have some fun.

Rivettes - I like the Awning Flag idea - we could get panels digitally printed with the Rally logo - then you could quilt them how you wanted to....

Thanks for the Map Carol - that really helps when you come in in the dark tee hee... I remember doing the tour across that bridge and back at night - after hearing all the "don't cross the bridge whatever you do in the thread before we left" But I was not turning around at 2:00 am in the morning - I would have ended up in the creek:lol:  I just closed my eyes and hoped for the best and prayed I did not hear any scrapping

airedale 03-11-2008 10:03 AM

YAY, a flag, SWEET, where can we make them, How much, and how soon can we get them?

silvermoon 03-11-2008 12:20 PM

The flag idea sounds cool!!

Is there a certain area of the park that we are trying to get together in? (If we are going to make reservations) or do you play it by ear?

airedale 03-11-2008 12:47 PM

We are going to play it by ear, the only reason is because there is a 8 dollar fee to make reservations. The campground said it should really be a problem, but what I plan on doing is calling the campground in 3 week, and making sure that we dont need to make reservations, if I knew how many rigs we are going to have I would make sure we could all be next to each other. Holly, be sure to visit the rally page and sign up for the rally!

tin sista 03-11-2008 12:53 PM

Hey sisters!:)

I'll be glad to make the little rally magnets and window stickers for attendees if its ok by the logo ladies? :)

airedale 03-11-2008 01:07 PM

YEA!!!! Everything is great!!!! Everyone be sure to sign up for the rally!!!!!

airedale 03-11-2008 01:15 PM

WAIT!!!! I just saw something, In the Logo has Jackson Center spelled Jackson Centre. Maybe we should change that before we make the stickers and stuff.

I can see it now, ladies start your engines! I want THAT space! Sharon and Steph racing towards site number 104, there goes Sharon into reverse backing the Lady Bug to go down the other lane, Steph sees her and drives right over the parking curbs and across the hill and cuts her off.

Laura that is chiefly British useage and spelling of center, not a matter of transposing the letters. We are so transcontinental. ;)

airedale 03-11-2008 02:09 PM

I know but the way it is on the map its Jackson Center, just an FYI!

05ModPod 03-11-2008 02:45 PM

:D :D :D I hear ya - will get her transcontinentally changed so we don't have any new guest showing up in the wrong centre:brows:
Get her done in a minute and send around again:)

airedale 03-11-2008 03:04 PM

Sweet, email it to me, so i can change it on the rally page!
