cable tv input location

Allright, I am going to try to use my memory, because I am at work right now. I brought a t.v. and some cable wire with me to the camp ground the other night to watch a ball game. I just ran the cable in through the compartment that is under the couch. Later I found some documentation on the unit that cabling is hooked into under the built in t.v. in the living area. It showed that you should be able to hook in a cable feed there. I had to use a mirror and flash light to see this box that all the wires were hooked into. There was a cable wire already hooked into the place where the diagram showed that cable t.v. was supposed to be hooked. It ran into a hole that was in the side of the coach and disappeared. I was wondering if there is a cable t.v. hook up somewhere in one of the compartments? How have you'all got your cable hooked into your t.v's? Once again, thanks in advance!

On our 310 the incoming cable hookup is in the electrical cable storage compartment in the upper left hand corner. I'll bet your's is similar.

How do you get TV cable into a old 74 Tradewind? I am getting ready to live in my trailer and haven't figured this out yet... any ideas?
Thanks, Pam

In our '86 345, the cable hook-up outside is in the shore power/water bay. This cable runs to the TV cabinet in the living room. There you have some options. There is the roof antenna booster, and the cable going to the bed room wall TV outlet. I use a 1 to 2 adapter so I can feed both TV's from either source. You should have the capabillity of watching TV from boosted roof antenna, or cable. We even take a portable dish an Direct TV box with us. I hook this into the cable line in the living room, and then we have dish just like at home.
Hope this helps, Rob

Pam,

Rob described the location better than I did. I think Airstream had all of the TV incoming wiring brought into the power/water storage cabinet at the rear of the coach/trailer.

Take a look in that compartment and check to see if a cable end isn't hanging in there somewhere. I seem to remember our 74 Excella 500 31' trailer had the same arrangement.

Thanks to all, I will look when i get home from work today. I just got done ordering a remanufactured master cylinder for my 345 86'. Should be here tomorrow morning. This should solve the problem from a previous post of mine.

JaG, if you're just replacing the master cylinder be sure and do a bench bleed of the m/c. You might get lucky and not have to bleed the rest of the lines that way. But then again, I'm no expert so hopefully someone will either confirm or refute my comment

@bkahler: I will try and get as much of the air out of the m/c before I install it as advised. I think I will go ahead and bleed out a lot of the brake fluid while I am at it though to be on the safe side.

Now as for the cabling. A big thank you goes out to all of yous who knew where my coax connection was. I swear I looked all over the place and looked in that compartment 100 times and still didn't find it until tonight. I am going to run a splitter off of my house cable and get a feed out to nancy this weekend. Sweet!!:D

JaG,

I finally found the picture of our 310 TV connection box. Every similar to yours only lower. It looks like someone took the adapter off and left the cable hanging. Since we don't use a TV I'm not to concerned about it just yet.
