Exterior shower finished!
Some of you wanted to see how I put an exterior shower in without cutting the skin.
Here is a PDF. with the photos. It cost me around 100 bucks total :D

soldiermedic 07-24-2007 10:52 AM

Very cool....wheres the PDF?

Jim & Susan 07-24-2007 10:58 AM

You may need to load each pic individually. I think the only way you can load a .pdf file is if it is a single page document (like a single picture). In other words, you can't attach a document, but you can attach a picture.

Can one of the other Moderators confirm that for me?

I'm looking forward to your invention. I've been pondering how exactly to this as well.

My web link is scewing up and for some reason the sever dosnt like the file.
I'll try to post it again in a while.

Resorts 07-24-2007 11:07 AM

The pdf. is two pages.... do I need to load one at a time?

Jim & Susan 07-24-2007 11:15 AM

That's what I would try.....

Resorts 07-24-2007 11:26 AM

How do I get this thread deleted and try later after splitting the pdf.?

pmclemore 07-24-2007 11:58 AM

It's too late. We're already watching and waiting. But we're a patient group...

Minnie's Mate 07-24-2007 12:28 PM

...and we're waiting. And we're waiting...;)

Very Clever.

Nice workmanship, too.

bobkelly 07-24-2007 02:05 PM

Very nice. It was worth the wait.

ScottW 07-24-2007 03:26 PM

Good idea, nice job. Karma to ya!

Resorts 07-24-2007 08:44 PM

Thanks, for the feed back. It works really well. Already tried it when the neibors werent looking. Or maybe they were when my other half was using it. Sorry it took me a while to get it up. Learning curve ya know. Once you have it plumbed in you can do anything you want with the shower which I think makes it better than one that is built into the side. They do make stand up pole showers that you can order but they are about $175.

mello mike 07-24-2007 09:25 PM

Impressive! Karma coming your way...:D

Resorts 07-24-2007 10:06 PM

For about 20 bucks in materials (at bulk rate) Airstream could do it on the new units and only have 20 minuits of labor in it. HMMMMM

cosmotini 07-24-2007 10:53 PM

Our new unit came with a exterior shower.

I wonder if technically, you are "dumping" grey water if you use it to wash with.

I gave some thought to using it and haven't come up with any reasons yet.

On edit: There is another active thread regarding what's considered "dumping".
