Bowen burner assembly
I have a 1965 Bowen water heater and the burner assembly (TUBE) has holes rusted in it. Does anyone know where to get replacement parts?

Well I hate to be the bearer of bad news but that particular part is NLA (no longer available). Does the water heater still work ?? If it does I would use it until it drops dead.

Your only other option is to start asking around at small RV places that look like they've been there for a while. Take it or a picture of it with you so they know what it is you are needing. There are still a few floating around out there, you'll just have to ferret them out !

If you are good with welding you could re-fit a newer style tube to your heater.

You could also replace the water heater with new one.

I got very very lucky when I went looking for a burner tube for my Bowen. The first place I went had one mixed in with a pile of other parts. They had bought out another dealer and it was in with the inventory.

Good Luck !

The rusted-out pilot light assembly on my Bowen water heater was successfully repaired with ThermoSteel. I think it would repair your damage too.

I traveled the same route as you are 2-3 months ago. No burners or even one close to adapt for my '66. So I installed a new Atwood. I'm glad I did because in removing my old Bowen I discovered it had slow leak that rotted the floor under it. The Atwood is fantastic.
