I have a "manual" for my '61 TradeWind. Really a wonderful paper collection describing all the specific appliances and systems on the Airstream and how to use them.

Honest to goodness factory manuals did not appear until 1964. I do have the bound factory manual for my '64 Bambi II.

TrimQueen, welcome to the Airstream world. Youíll find a lot of info on your Tradewind. Take a look at PA BAMBI IIís renovation thread on their 61 Tradewind. Youíll find some good information there. Good luck and start a reno thread so we can follow along.

Welcome TrimQueen looks like fun, adventure and patience about to happen.

How does she look inside.

Take a picture of the tags under the window by the front door. On that will be your serial number and you'll find out which model 62 Airstream you have. What does it measures ball to bumper

Also look at the Airstreams archive documents to see some of the original specs, layouts and brochures.

Oh I see in your profile you listed it as a Tradewind, so 24 feet (although there were 25 foot TW a few years earlier). Vintage Tradwinds are very popular and a favorite. Our first vintage was a 65 Tradewind. Enjoy, you are in the right place for help.
