City Water filling Fresh Water Tank and Overflowing

When I hook up my 2018 27 FC-FB to City Water the Fresh Water tank fills to 100% and spews water through the overflow vent. Is there a bypass or check valve I am overlooking? Please advise

Common problem. Check valve in the water pump is not sealing. Could just be some matter in the line. Running the pump will clear this up in most cases. Worse case will be to replace the pump.

Ditto.

These search results will lead to earlier posts/threads with further helpful information IMO:

For what it's worth, we had the same issue. We decided to have a check valve installed. The water pump is extremely noisy now and we wish we had just replaced the fresh water pump from the start.

We just had that problem on ours a few days ago, although it was more a drip than a spew. Turning off the city water and running the pump for a few minutes fixed it.

Fresh Water Pump Replacement

Thank you all for your help. I have decided to replace the fresh water tank pump. I have been told that their is a variable speed pump upgrade out there. I would appreciate any replacement pump information. Again...THANK YOU

I just experienced the same issue. Turned off city water, filled the fresh water tank and used the water pump for 3-4 mins. shut it off, then did the same several times. This fixed my issue. Good luck
