TPMS and Ceramic Beads

Just bought a set of Goodyear Endurance for the Argosy. The local Treadit where I bought new rims and the tires does not offer balancing service. Upon leaving, the first tire store I stopped at "said" they didn't have lead weights that would fit the new rims. I suspect that was BS as I didn't buy the tires from him. Anyway, so I am considering using Dyna Beads ceramic beads in lieu of lead. https://www.innovativebalancing.com/index.php I will also be using the TST 507 pressure monitors. So my question to anyone who has used this set up is, I plan to use the valve stems with filters on them that come with the beads, has anyone had a problem with the TPMS using ceramic beads?

Balancing

I installed new Endurance tires last year.
The tire store told you BS. On aluminum rims you use stick on weights. Amazing how many tire shops have inexperienced people. I have run into some.
Take your wheels and tires to a reputable tire store.
They will put the weights in the center of the wheel on the back.
I have the same 507 monitors and they are great.
Good luck.

I have run Dyna beads for over 10 years in my moho tires with TPMS with no problems.

Thanks delrossa, Smartstream. Since I had not unloaded them from the bed of my truck I took them to another tire shop and they balanced them with no problem for $20.

It is OBE now, but I think with the screw-on TPMS transmitters you should use steel stems. IIRC there have been multiple posts on here of rubber stem failure with screw on TPMS.

I did get the metal valve stems. Partly for the TPMS and also to hopefully help keep the hub caps from creeping or if the do to minimize damage to the stem.

I use these on everything , semi-truck , pickup truck trailers .
I was in the auto repair bis. for 40+ yrs. and seen lots of things , and anything that changes / loose when you dismount tire is a waste .
Centermaitics you keep and put on the next truck , trailer , lots of reasons , I consider nothing else .
