As one knows, this year there was a mix up. When Reserve America made reservations available, a number of us quickly registered. In a previous post, Jack had stated to get reservations in early as to fill the "F" & "P" loops. We were than informed that Jack could not make it that week end due to Pattie"s medical appointments. A number of us that had made reservations could not change due to conflicts. With this said, we now have TWO rallys at Moraine View and on consecutive week ends. Gee; one could go to the first rally and stay for the second.
As I write this, sites F-6 and P 3 & 22 are open. What site are you in?

I'm confused ! thought this was BB&B Rally ? We are in F 8.

Yep, unfortunately we couldn't do the second weekend as noted. I'm sorry for the confusion. For those of you wanting to attend the Moraine View rally that I've sponsored the past 15 years, understand that this year it is the first weekend of June. As of this time, all the functions, Hot Dog Fest, Saturday Trailer Tours, Saturday Night Pot Luck and Evening Movies are planned for that rally.

Next year once we get our schedule together, I'll give the announcement as to what weekend we will be doing. Sorry I can't guarantee the same weekend every year but we are pretty much at the mercy of doctors and Patty's medical supplier who drops us 45 cartons of dialysis supplies on a specific day each month. Until I get their schedule in early January, I'm pretty much powerless to guarantee a specific weekend.

Thanks, Jack; This scheduling thing is only going to get worse. I read where the production of RV's and available camp sites is getting saturated (week ends and holidays) during season. Alot of campgrounds are converting sites to seasonal for guaranteed income and increasing rates on regular sites . Here, city, county and state parks and COE are full for weeks at a time as people reserve to guarantee a site. Site prices are also on the increase; I have seen as high as $165/nite.
Dana and I now go during the week (Monday to Thursday) as to have a site.
So much for the sermon; but this is why we reserve ASAP.

I'll be flying home Friday morning and driving up to P-16 that afternoon!

F 1, 2, and 9 are booked for the family. The second weekend in June works the best for us. Looking forward to some BB & cold B's!

?? which does the gang prefer; BB&B Friday or Saturday ?? Pizza nite ?? More suggestions food wise.
We will have water activities, biking, BOCCE BALL, KNITTING and VOCALIZATION.

Jo Ann & I are in P-20 Thursday-Sunday. Either/or or both for potluck. Pizza in a Dutch oven sounds fun. So long as you don't mind me making a batch or two of ice cream to blow the diets...

Gosh I am so sorry we can't be there this year. My son had the nerve to pick that week to get married! Will see some of you in April and maybe at the fall rally.
