Releasing Parking Brake

Argh. CoachNet folks put on the parking brake before they changed my tire (which is GOOD). What's bad is can't get the parking brake off!!

2015. Simple Lever beside driver's seat. Pushed button, slightly pulled up on lever and then pushed to the floor. Nothing. Lamp still on and brake is locked so it's not just the indicator light.

Page 150 of the Sprinter manual explains how to do and that's what I've done. Is there some quirky trick to this.....

Try this…

Push the lever all the way to the floor. Pull it up without pressing the button, until it goes one click past where it was before (you should hear/feel the click). THEN press the button while pushing down.

If the service tech over-applied the lever, you will have to pull up farther than you think the lever will go. But trust me, it will go. You can't apply enough force with just your arms to break the lever.

Protag,
Thanks. That was it. I just wasn't going far enough because I felt it would break. Must have been over applied
