Interior 12vDC bulbs

What is the proper replacement bulb for interior 12vDC cone lamps in 64 Airstream. #1141 auto taillight bulbs seem to work but not sure it it is correct bulb.

Walter, if the lamp looks like this picture below, my '68 owners manual says you want the 1176.

The #1176 should give you 3 light levels -like a tri-light bulb.

Thanks, thats what my lights look like, I'll try the 1176 and see if they work out.

Has anyone tried the new LED replacement lamps for the 1176 or like bulbs.
I know they work well for tail lights, but how about for interior lighting?

Gary, the LED lights are quite directional. I have them in the reading lights at the front of the coach, and they work well there. Tried them in fixtures where the the bulbs are horizontal, they do not work well at all.

Whats the number for the LED replacement for front reading lamps and where are they available?

Is 1176 correct bulb for bathroom and overhead horizontal row lamps as well?
Walter
