Bumper dent

1 Attachment(s)
Has anyone had experience pulling dents out of A/S bumpers? There's no crease, so I'm assuming it might pull out OK. I was thinking of, with the bumper removed, slowly hammering at a piece of wood placed inside the bumper. Maybe starting at the edge of the dent. Any thoughts on this? - Roy

It should work

I had a woman in Oklahoma back into the aluminum bumper of my 2003 International, leaving a small dent from her bumper guard.

I took the bumper off and hammered ot out with an auto-body hammer on a padded board. The only reminder was a blemish in the polished finish which I could never quite match to the remainder of the bumper.

It took my largest screwdriver and a wrench on the shank to get the screws holding the bumper out.
