Speaker wire? Remote?
 

Just find this wiring under my old carpet in my 77 31' Sovereign Center bath.

I saw in a manual that these were for a stereo remote? Are these simply the rear speaker wires?

Are they near the furnace? They look like thermostat/furnace wires to me. Alternatively, could partially be power to the water pump. Just guessing....
