toilet flange question

1 Attachment(s)
Probably a dumb question. I am redoing my trailer floor. I have a leak under or around the toilet/shower area. To find and be certain of its origin, it I need to remove the wood under the toilet. How do I remove the toilet flange? Took the bolts off... Now what? Thanks for the info.

It looks like a screw in type. Make your own spanner type wrench with a couple of 1/4 inch bolts and a 1 x 2 piece of wood about 12 to 15 inches long. Position the bolts so they go thru the wood and match the spaces at the perimeter of the flange....then just use it to undo the flange.

Thanks. I was afraid it was glued. Going to try it!

It came off easy after the first turn... The sealant was still pretty strong. Any idea what kind that is? Should I used the same thing when re-installing?
I think the seal on top of the flange was compromised somehow and water trickled on the floor there... Not quite sure. The shower could have been the culprit but I won't be sure until the water can be turned on again.
