Clear Coat Stripper products.....

The Napier Removeall 220 is no longer available? Any other suggestions. Vintage Airstream had a replacement product. Has anyone tried it and does it work as well as folks thought the Napier Removeall product worked? Thanks in advance :)

Citristrip from Home Depot

I'm using the CitriStrip on my Argosy exterior. Works great on everything except the banana wraps. Whatever they used for etching primer is as tough as nails! For a "hotter" stripper, O' Reily Auto Parts sells a really good aircraft stripper.

I really like the Citri-strip. Had to do mine in the side yard and it didn't harm the lawn or me. Had to reapply in some spots but, overall, the plastic coat came off without a struggle.

Do you paint the Citri-strip on and then wash it off with the power washer or do you have to scrape it? Thanks for all your advice!

Brush on pressure wash off. I'm using a scotchbrite pad as well, but ill be polishing afterwards.

So you don't necessarily have to scrub? How long did you leave the Citristrip on before you washed it off? If I'm going to "paint" the roof with white elastomeric coating do I need to strip it too (hmmm, answer my own question: yeah). Looking to do this in the next few weeks.... Thanks for any and all advice!

Kay,
Leave it on for about 20 mins. Just don't do it in direct sunlight as that seems to dry out the stripper and render it mostly innefective.
