I did post my installation here; not sure if you saw that.
The installation was not bad at all. I did enlarge the hole through the trailer so the new HaloView connector would fit. If you don't care about that you can cut it off and shorten the wiring. Otherwise it's straightforward - positive to positive, negative to negative.
