Sorry I did not see this until recently.
I did take some measurements, but I did not strictly trust them. There was about a 1.5 inch difference. The shorter leg was about 7 inches. However there are a bunch of variables.
1. Where the access hole is on the variably curved roof.
2. The location of the bracket in relation to the cable access hole.
3. The angle of the legs. My legs are not vertical. They angle outward at about 10-12 degrees.
Because of these variables, I built a test bracket out of a narrow piece of aluminum. It can be seen in the first picture. I bent the test bracket to an optimal shape and used it as a template to cut the actual bracket material. The test bracket caused me to shorten both legs by two inches from the original concept (it looked too tall) and angle the legs outward for strength and better appearance.
