So, my 2nd question is, when you originally bought your airstream (which looks much like mine, minus the rat excrement) how much did you pay for it? Or what was the asking price?

I have interest from someone who loves my airstream 'malgre' all the rat stuff, and do not know what to price it at in case I do sell it.

The airstream probably needs a good look over electrically and a good clean, but no leaks & is otherwise in good condition. When I lived in it I re-did the bathroom & put granite floors throughout & everything worked great! I had hooked up the sound system I upgraded in there to solar pannels as well as the lights, it all worked beautifully. The now stolen frige (which I tried to replace, but could not find a model that fit in there) worked great, airconditioner & oven as well as water all worked great. What do you think I should sell it for if I do not find someone in my area, dry Santa Fe, N. Mexico, to rewire and clean it with me so that I can use it again?

    I own a 1975 Overlander 27 footer.
It was in great shape until a few years ago I was gone, it got broken into & a lot was stolen including my original frige! Then, more undesirable visitors Kangoroo rats & pack rats came through the still slightly bent front door. I returned to an infested airstream! I tried my best to clean it, ripped out the nice granite floor I custom installed myself, as "their toilet area" seemed to be in the belly of the airstream, under the plywood original floor & I wanted to clean it all out. From the extreme heat in New Mexico, it was all melted then made as hard as cement in the belly of the airstream not a pretty sight, I assure you. Any ideas If I tear out the plywood, how to get that hardened excrement out from the under the floor airstream body??

Thank you form anyone for advise. If anyone has a fixer upper, mid seventies 27 footer that would be able to give me a ball park for an asking price, should I sell it; I would qppreciate it.
