    Hi SBS,
We are new AS owners. I see your group is having a rally at Marina Dunes. This caught our attention as we are spending New Years there with friends. I see the rally is for Cal Streamers. Is this a combination of No. Cal & So. Cal AS groups? We think it might be fun to attend an AS rally. Please provide more info.

    Thank you!

    Hi Bruce and Sandra:
Hope all is well. Chris and I ran into Kenny at the Buellton vintage trailer show and he gave me Sandras's Cell, which was some spanish speaking woman, so I figured it was wrong.
He said you guys are going to go to the Kern and that Oct 1 is when the call in date is for next year. Let me know the dates you chose so we can try and get a spot next or close to you guys. So much fun. In the mean time I will call the other number Kenny gave me for Bruce. I think he is at the balloon show so I don't know if he will answer or when you will get this message. Let me know thought would love to see you guys again up there.

We decided that it just wasn't big enough, we wanted something with more storage, and room. It was also an awful lot of work, seems like after every trip we would spend the next weekend working on it to repair the most recent thing that broke. We just purchased a Fleetwood Southwind motorhome. Our intensions were to get a small vintage trailer to use in short trips, and rallys. We love the Airstream community. We purchased a 1966 Safari that was disassembled but gave up working on it after a few months. Uwe is taking that one over.
At some point we will probably get another Airstream, just not a newer one.
