I think you sent this message to wrong person.

    Harvey,

I must have missed your message.

F150 works great up and down hills.

Just remember on steep grades start SLOW. The gear you go up is the gear you go down.

    I get about 12 mpg.

Also the back up assist didn't work well with the AS. Some have put the sticker on the tanks. I haven't. I've found that after awhile you get pretty good backing up.

Remember: 1) Go slow. Inches at a time. 2) Always have someone helping in the back. 3) If you aren't getting it right start over.

What I like the back up assist for is my cargo trailer. Short trailers are harder to back up.

Hi. I'm sorry that I've just noticed your message! I fear I'm too late!

Regarding the 7in.. we just barely made it. I do think we've heard of someone putting the sticker vertical but we didn't try. What we did add vertically was a piece of (red) plastic, (actually a flexible cutting board 'cause it's was on hand) That and the sticker are indeed permanently affixed to the a-frame and tank over. One other thing that wasn't mentioned is the affect of the sun or bright lighting on the system. Last week dappled sun caused ours to fail out. When we loved a bit into the shade, the sticker was recognized again. We can take pics.. just let us know if you still need them. You can contact me directly at guindy@comcast.net. I'll see that sooner!
