    Hello Jay n Ess.
I contacted you all a while ago and we shared similar Previous Owners. My PO was 88 also when he stopped pulling. A year too late as creases down the side attest to. I just riveted some support ribs on my rock / window guard. The guard made of Lexan had cracked from top to bottom and I fablicated some 2" wide alum strips on front and back drilled and riveted. It almost looks normal. Will look better when I polish . Replaced the dump valve for the Black tank , that was easy. Now for the Grey tank that I have to cut into the metal around the tank to get to the valve. It is very tight and the handle is off and threads buggered. May try rethreading and installing another handle.
How has your AS life been going?. I envy your fishing. All I seen to catch in CO is a Sunburn. Pretty place but fished out.
    Take care.

    Hey, Jay!

Thanks for the welcome. Good to know there's a fellow Airstreamer nearby. I just moved to Asheville from Raleigh in April and am just getting to know the local flyfishing waters, which usually include my getting humbled by the very wary wild trout in the GSMNP, though hoping to do more smallmouth fishing on the French Broad next season.

How large is your AS? How does it work with the camping in and around Burnsville? One of my concerns with my 25 footer is that it may be too large for local camping. But it will be nice when I (hopefully) summer in Montana and go after those trout.

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Ed
