I dug out my cooktop and have some pictures of it. I set up a Picasa account and If I knew how to send you the connection to it, I would. If you can guide me on how to send the Picasa, would help.

On the cooktop, the chrome rings that the burners set in are in pretty decent shape as well as main chrome cover. Very little rust. The cover is hinged and is a little bit loose. If I hadn't planned on a new oven with burners on top, I would definitely reuse the cooktop. Just needs some clean up.

If you haven't had a chance to box up the antennea, I'm not in a big hurry for it. Will probably be next spring before I can get the old base removed.

I dropped the bottom pan off of my 1968 Airstream. I found the steel angle iron holding up the black water tank was rusted and replaced it with a piece of bed frame. I had rotten flooring at the back probably from a frozen battery. I cut pieces of 3/4 inch plywood to fit in the cabinet and around the back of the stool. I then cut a piece of 3/4 inch plywood to fit under the floor and screwed it with wood screws. (Long drywall screws that went into the wood above. At the outter edge of the wood, the trailer shell has an aluminum frame that is screwed to the members going up and over the trailer. I drilled holes up through the wood to the metal that would allow a long sheet metal screw to pass and used a smaller drill to drill a pilot hole from the screw. I used stainless steel metal screws and put them about an inch and a half apart around the bottom of the trailer. Lyall
