On my last camping trip and the return home my cable from the truck to the trailer was in contact with the road and rubbed throught about 1/4 of the cable. What Do I do?. Can the whole cable from the truck to the trailer be replaced and if so how? Can the cable be slpiced and repaired? Any suggestions greatly appreaciated.

I have a 1991 Airstream Excella 1000 32 RB, I have had it out twice and this last week I rolled out the Zip Dee Awning on the front side and it would not rewind. Any help or suggestions.
