Hiya, We currently live in California, so there are many beautiful places to camp. We live in Livermore, Ca. Any lovely places to camp around Dallas, Tx? We are heading that way. We moved to California from Dallas but did not own our trailer when we lived in Texas. One of our favorites is Gualala Point Campground, Gualala, CA
42401 Coast Highway 1, Gualala, Ca Campsite 4 or 5, you will fit in. Russia river is another beautiful area, and I believe many places for camping or non docking. Our favorite is redwoods, with a nice hike to the ocean. Check out sonomacountycamping.org. One needs to book sites way in advance, but in a lot of places near lakes that usually easy to get aspot. Love to chat on all your upgrades sound like we have very similar systems. Cheers Jeff

Are you foobar or Harley boy? (I find this forum software has a horrible UX design and usually can’t find what I’m looking for.J. I’m GT27 and obviously have a 27 foot Globetrotter. With all the issues we’ve had, Airstream is about the only trailer I would buy. We considered the Pottery Barn, but preferred the GT for the more modern design aspects. Sometimes I wish I had the 2018 back, but I guess that ain’t happening. Would be happy to stay in touch if I’m who you think you are talking to.

Just read your posts and you and I have a lot in common. My wife has been wanting me to get into RV-ing for some time and I too didn't want to get a cheap version of one after looking around a bit. I have been looking at buying an Airstream for about 4 years and had decided on the exact same one you purchased and was going to buy it this year until the pottery barn version came out. I had wanted a 27' but with the upgrades that the 30 and 33 classics had and this was the closest I could come without buying the Classic which was just too big for a newbie to feel comfortable pulling. I put my down payment on it in February and was supposed to take ownership in June, then August and now October. Hope you get yours when they tell you you will.
Having said all that, I would like to keep in touch with you since you will be getting yours a few months before I get mine and know what accessories you find you need. Thanks Harley-boy
